4 Reasons why there is a high demand for German Language in India:

Foreign languages that Indian students have been learning over the decades are French, German, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Mandarin, etc. Although some are of the opinion that German is too complex to learn, there are evidences to the contrary. 1. It is Easy to Learn German: That German is hard to learn is a myth. All English speakers have quite an advantage when it comes to learning German. The principal reason is that English and German, as languages, have the same Germanic origin. There are a large number of words that have a close relation and are called Cognates. E.g. "Father" in English becomes "Vater" in German and "Water" becomes "Wasser". Moreover, unlike Russian, Japanese, Arabic, Korean, and Chinese, there are no new alphabets to learn. Just a few letters are added. The new letters that get added are the umlauts ä, ü, and ö. One does not need to invest infinite time in order to learn German.
